South Australia’s Fiercest Storm in 70 Years – Damages David’s Antennas

South Australia’s Fiercest Storm – Adelaide was hit with a violent storm in the last week of September 2016. The most severe weather event in 70 years. Wind gusts of up to 140 km/h took out transmission towers and wreaked havoc across the state. In fact, twin tornadoes took out the main transmissions lines to the state and plunged the whole state into darkness. Sadly one of David’s antennas did not survive the storm and came crashing down as the pictures shos. His main tower and beam antenna though, stood firm and strong. See more information about the storm here.
